Leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders.

Engineering For Kids Association Mentorship Program

We strive to change the education culture of communities in Jerusalem & Palestine, by putting talented and inspired secondary school students, engineering students and faculty in classrooms with elementary students who do not have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating field of engineering and STEM in their schools. These students will receive encouragement and support from mentors in their community and learn about technology in a new and exciting way.

Engineering careers are some of the fastest growing and highest demand careers available in the world today. Unfortunately, engineering is also one of the most abstract and challenging career paths a student can strive for. Due to the fear of difficulty, students tend to steer away from engineering at a young age and grow up thinking that they are incapable of considering engineering as a career choice.

The Engineering For Kids Association Mentorship Program offers young children an opportunity to achieve their academic goals, and learn the way the world works around them by providing them with a role model to help them tackle the challenges of engineering.

Objective

Provide engineering education opportunities to at-risk, needy and underserved elementary students and at the same time develop high school engineering students as role models and mentors.

Philosophy

By building a team of dedicated educators, engineering mentors, and generous sponsors, we can provide support that will help interested engineering students achieve personal and academic growth.
